EU Clinical Director

The role of Clinical Director is a pivotal position within the UK affiliate of my client, overseeing the European Clinical Operations across 5 countries. This vacancy is a new position developed as a result of exceptional growth, a strong pipeline of products and an ongoing success of blockbuster products on the market.

The responsibilities of this position involve;
* Leading the European research group and oversee the activities of the local Clinical Research Directors
* Continue the growth of the regional business unit by means of hiring and directing work as appropriate
* Oversee CROs across projects and improve processes surrounding clinical data
* Work directly with the Senior Director to develop strategic direction of the group
* Line Manage Associate Clinical Research Directors and study teams in addition to delegating the relationships of internal staff and external vendors.

This position is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Clinical Research Director to join a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company with an impressive portfolio of products. We are however looking for the perfect candidate with the following criteria;
* A minimum of 7 years experience working within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within clinical research/operations
