Tier 3 Avaya Engineer

Based: South East
Salary: to c.65k + benefits

The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets experience:

- Be comfortable in installing troubleshooting technical requirements in complex converged networking solutions (Primarily Avaya)
- Be able to demonstrate design and implement competences related to converged systems
- 4 – 6 years experience skills in Avaya
- Support capabilities to solve customer`s business problems and expertise in maximizing system performance
- Understand TCP/IP concepts and be able to communicate with customer and 3rd party vendors CCNA level expected.
- Be able to be a mentor and impart skills to shadowing Engineers.
- Have a strong background / experience with Cisco networking Technology, Microsoft Operating systems and applications, Linux, Wireless protocols Unix.
- Assist with Project Teams to ensure proper project planning and handover from Installation to Support.
- Ability to work in a professional unsupervised manner and report back to Services Manager
- Interest in emerging VOIP technology and interest in learning new skills (particularly within the Application and integration field).
